Glass-scapes
It all started when I decided to take a closer look to the then recently installed stained-glass windows in the St. Thomas More Newman Center of The Ohio State University. While admiring the overall grand composition of each window, I was most fascinated by the features within some of their glass panels. During my next visit I made sure to have my tripod and a camera with a macro lens with which I captured some of the panels' details. Back home I marveled at the resulting images and ever since I never missed the opportunity to explore artistic glass works often occurring in the form of stained windows in churches or other public buildings.
Upon close examination these can present color blends, streaks, waves and bubbles of various sizes and shapes all of which contribute to the creation of otherworldly landscapes some examples of which are presented in this gallery.
